10. Health & Liability Clause (Owner Responsibility & Disclaimer)

Your dog’s health is very important. The following clauses are intentionally explicit, protective and must be read carefully:

A. Owner responsibility & disclosure

Owners/guardians are solely responsible for:

  • Disclosing known allergies, intolerances, medical conditions or dietary restrictions prior to purchase;
  • Providing accurate information about their dog’s breed, weight, age and activity level;
  • Consulting a qualified veterinarian for medical or dietary advice before introducing any new diet, particularly if the dog has pre-existing conditions.

B. Storage, handling & feeding instructions

All WoofBowl products are fresh and frozen. You must follow the provided defrosting, storage and feeding instructions. Failure to follow instructions (including improper thawing, reheating, storage, or portioning) may cause spoilage, contamination or adverse events.

C. No medical warranty / limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Woofbowlfoods and WoofBowl provide food “as is” and make no medical, dietary or health warranties;
  • We are not responsible and disclaim any liability for any adverse reaction, injury, illness, or loss arising from (a) undisclosed allergies or sensitivities by the owner, (b) improper handling or storage by the owner, (c) incorrect feeding or dosage by the owner, (d) any pre-existing health condition of the dog, or (e) any other circumstances beyond reasonable control;
  • If a dog experiences an adverse reaction, you must stop feeding immediately and seek veterinary care. You must also notify us at care@woofbowl.in promptly.

D. Binding waiver / indemnity

By purchasing or subscribing you acknowledge and agree you have read and accepted the above and you release Woofbowlfoods from medical liability to the extent permitted by law. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from failure to disclose information or failure to follow instructions.

E. Limited remedy

Where liability cannot be excluded by applicable law, our maximum aggregate liability for any claim related to products supplied shall be limited to the purchase price paid by you for the specific order in question, to the extent permitted by law.

(These clauses are written to protect the business while remaining consistent with good consumer practice. They will be interpreted under applicable law.)

11. Children’s Privacy

Our services are for pet owners. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal data from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete it.

12. Your Rights & Choices

You may:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate data;
  • Request deletion (subject to legal retention obligations);
  • Withdraw consent for marketing at any time;
  • Object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances;

15. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

This Policy and any disputes are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or related to this Policy or our services shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Mysore, Karnataka, India.

16. Severability

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted.
